Ekspozicija / Exposition

 

    Ekspozicija yra įrengta dviejuose iš muziejui priklausančių pastatų. Buvusiose skulptoriaus dirbtuvėse eksponuojamas didysis skulptoriaus kūrybinis palikimas. Tai ir pačios didžiausios LDK Vytauto, Simono Daukanto, Angelo ir Nukryžiuotojo skulptūros. Taip pat skulptūrinių paminklų projektai, skulptūrų dalys, portretai, kamerinės skulptūros, bareljefai, piešiniai, eskizai, keramikos darbeliai, skulptoriaus darbo įrankiai ir rūbai. 

   Exposition is established in two buildings that belong to the museum. In the former work-shop of the sculptor the largest creative heritage of the sculptor is exposed. There are the largest sculptures of the Lithuanian Great Duke Vytautas, Simonas Daukantas, Angel and Crucifix. As well the projects of sculptural monuments, parts of sculptures, portraits, chamber sculptures, bass-relieves, paintings, sketches, ceramic works, work tools and clothes of the sculptor.

    Pirmajame gyvenamojo namo aukšte eksponuojami fotodokumentai, asmeniniai skulptoriaus daiktai, baldai,  liaudies  medinių  skulptūrų  ir  medžio  dirbinių  rinkinys.Medinės  liaudies  skulptūros  yra skulptoriaus  V. Grybo kolekcija.  Joje  ypač išsiskiria Nuplakto Kristaus,  Nukryžiuotojo  ir  Pietos skulptūros.

    On the ground floor of the dwelling house there are exposed photo documents, personal things of the sculptor, furniture, collection of folk wooden sculptures and wood articles. Folk wooden sculptures are the collection of the sculptor V. Grybas. The most outstanding ones are the sculptures of the Whipped Christ, Crucifix and Pieta.

 

Antrame aukšte veikia žymios liaudies menininkės miniatiūristės Lidos Meškaitytės (1926-1993) akvarelių paroda. Ši ekspozicija yra keičiama kas metai.

  On the first floor there is aquarelle exhibition of the famous folk artist miniaturist Lida Meškaitytė (1926-1993). This exposition is changed every year.

 

 Muziejuje dažnai organizuojamos ir kilnojamosios parodos. Dokumentų salėje rengiamos tapybos, piešinių, grafikos, skulptūros, vitražo, stiklo, keramikos, fotografijos, tekstilės ir vaikų piešinių parodos.

  In the museum there are often arranged movable exhibitions too. In the hall of the documentation there are organized displays of paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures, stained glass, decorative glass, ceramic, photography, textile and children’s drawings.
